The 1st Core Expert Meeting on Fisheries Management Strategies for Pelagic Fish Resources in the Southeast Asian Region is organized under a project entitled “Fisheries Management Strategies for Pelagic Fish Resources in the Southeast Asian Region” (JTF Phase II Program). This project is funded by the Japanese Trust Fund II for 5 years period (2020-2024). This meeting aims to; 1) To share information and results on the previous project, the JTF VI “Comparative Studies for Management of Purse Seine Fisheries in the Southeast Asian Region”; and 2) To introduce this project, the JTF IV Phase II and to find way forward for the next 4 years.
